The
Waimea Gazette ceased publication May 2007. It had over the last few decades developed a loyal following and was faithfully read by residents and visitors alike. We are working on getting the past issues published in book form, which (fingers crossed) should be available Christmas 2008. Please check back!
The Waimea Gazette was named the County of Hawai'i's "Media Advocate of the Year" by the U.S. Small Business Administration and received a KAHILI award for print media by the Hawai'i Visitors Bureau in its annual "Keep It Hawaii" Program.
